The University of Aveiro/CESAM is organizing the workshop Wildlife and roads: science in conflict management. The workshop will take place on June 6, 2014 in Acts room/University of Aveiro.
This event aims to bring together professionals from many different fields of society who are involved in this subject, particularly research units, stakeholders, consultants, non-governmental environmental organizations and government/public administration to discuss the following questions:
- Which are the species most affected by roads ?
- Is there any part of the national territory particularly impacted by roads?
- What actions have been developed to minimize the impacts? And how effective are they?
- How to develop synergies between public authorities, stakeholders and research units to make the sustainable management of the road network more effective?
Once it is a national event it is not translated to English.
